Absolute Classic! This was a recommendation from some guy online. I didnt know what to expect really but just decided to check it out. Turns out, glad I did. Umang mixes dexterous and witty lyricism with 90's influenced boom bap beats. Why did I say 90's influenced, the boom bap on this is not the boring cliche kind, it literally draws you in. Entirely produced by BBZ Darney (boom bapping zombie), some producer i never heard about until i listened to this album.Umang's delivery and flow will keep this in your CD deck till infinity. The chemistry is absolutely ridiculous, he had a track called "suited", a track whose concept is about a funeral of a dead foe. The imagery of flies buzzing in the instrumental just creates this ambience of you being in a cemetery listening to this play. Its insane.Topics are varied and diverse, introspective tracks about childhood and step dads, loss, battle tracks and impressive wordplay. This is probably the best hiphop album of 2014 that you'd never hear.
