This dress is 100% cotton, so it's a pretty flat color. I expected that, so no surprise there. There's no care instructions on the tag. It's not lined and the collar has absolutely no stiffness to it, so it wants to constantly lay flat. Fortunately I know how to sew, so I will put a couple stiches in it which will hopefully keep it upright. I had to go around the entire dress with scissors, clipping hanging threads. Make sure if you order this to clip the threads in the zipper so you don't tear it up. Overall it's a pretty dress. I bought it for a company Christmas party and I'm sure it'll receive compliments, but the overall quality is pretty mediocre. It's absolutely true to size, so if you take your measurements and follow the size chart, you'll be great. I usually wear a 6/8 and I ordered a 10 and it fits like a glove. The shipping was priority and I received it in 2 days which was awesome. I'm sure once I get the wrinkles out I'll love this dress more, but my overall reaction upon opening the package and trying it on was, "I paid $65....for this?" I probably could have sewed it myself, with lining, for less, but ain't nobody got time for that! If you can drop the cash without remorse, go for it, but know that you'll probably have to doctor it in one way or another to get it to look like the model in the photo. You won't get that look straight out of the box.
