What a splendid birthday present from my Honey!!! I love Polish Pottery for years, but never got any this splendid. And while the the dimensions on Amazon's descriptions seems small of the cookies I make the jar was only half full after making two full batches....So I think it will hold a lot.It has a rippled circle up by the lip of the jar, and I thought that quite clever as it prevents the lid from dropping inside and potentially breaking both Jar and lid.The other thing I love about Polish pottery is that they can be mixed and match and still maintain that Polish Pottery feel/look and unless you are a wretched cook, flavor.
