This book is pleasant and informative to read but it is let down by hardly mentioning the man who started the project, Alexander McKee. Reading this book it seems as if the much derided "Mad McKee" and his early team never existed, even though McKee's landmark book 'Henry VIII's Mary Rose' had been published nearly a decade earlier.
