Free people runs large. We all know this. In tops, I always go with a S even though I am a true M. For this shirt I didn't want it to be short and I couldn't tell the length from the photos. I also have pretty big boobs which makes shirts even shorter. I decided to go with a M. The medium length is the perfect length for me and not cropped at all. However, it is wide. I realized I could have gone with the small but it still looked good so no need to exchange. It also droops down on the sides so your bra strap might show. For reference, I am 5'3, 140 lbs, and have DD boobs.
