These sandals are completely impossible to buckle by yourself, I think they are defective product and that's why they ended up cheap on Amazon. The strap is so short and slippery that once your foot is in you cannot get it to buckle. In the end I closed the buckle before i put my foot in and then wiggled into them and stretched the back strap up over my heel. Also quite difficult. Will return.
