Nice boots -good leather quality. The calf was too large but had them adjusted at the shoemaker. Now they fit wonderful and very stylish and comfortable.These boots are worth the price! The leather is beautiful and they do not buckle around the ankles. I have heavy calves (21 inches) and it has been difficult to find a pair of tall leather boots that will allow me to tuck in a pair of slim fitting jeans or leggings.These boots showed up today and fit like a glove. My calf at its thickest point is 20" and I had room to spare, so, I'll be able to wear them over jeans too! ! They are beautiful! ! I love them and am so pleased with my purchase! !!!Loved the boots but they were not ascends at the opening as they claimed to be. They are snug but I do love the quality!I bought these based on my measurement and the advertised width of the cuff and yet it wasn't even close to fitting. I was willing to spend more than I ever had on a single pair of boots and thought that in spite of my weight I had found a company that made boots big enough. So not true.Beautiful boots !! Just too big at the top of the boot. I wish I could find the same boot in a 19 1/2 calf circumference !unfortunately although the circumference said 23, they would not fit. i was looking for a 23 circumference around the mid portion of the calf where you zip them up not the top of the boot. if you have a suggestion on the proper way to order i'd gladly try again.Online info is wrong, it says the opening is size 23", I tried them on, not 23" so we measured the opening an its 21". I am a short women with small feet and huge calf's, I have no luck with with any kind of boot.
