I wanted to make a small mural with these butterflies on my wall. The butterflies look gorgeous, I love the different designs on them that give a varied look to the different butterflies as opposed to all one uniform look and were easy to apply to the wall but the adhesive isn't that great. I applied them to clean metal and glass tiles and I find myself picking up a few every week and having to restick them onto the tiles.I used these butterflies--these lacey ones and some solid ones from another seller--for a wedding as little bits of whimsy on the decor. Turned the table centerpieces into a butterfly garden. They were such a hit that everyone kept asking if they could take a few for souvenirs. So I ended up with none left. I got another package to use for at home when I want a similar theme. They are mirrored glossy paper and hold up well to splashing with water, but you can't immerse them, of course. Despite being essentially stickers they provide a fun touch, an elegant sticker, if you will, that charm people. I have just one sticking to a vase on my kitchen table and it gets commented on by anyone who sees it. The lacey cut outs make them interesting to look at, too.
